Who does ADLA work with?
Our partners are “Africa-minded” Africans in the diaspora, “Africa-minded” Africans on the continent, and friends of Africa and its diaspora. In other words, anyone interested in the development of Africa and its people can be a partner ADLA.
Beyond our funding partners who are spread across the world, we work with individuals and organizations working in local African community contexts, to meet various development needs.
Our projects and learning programs engage organizations, educational institutions, healthcare facilities in local contexts who have a development need that the diaspora community and donors can assist in meeting.

How does ADLA choose projects?
Our goal with our programs, projects, and campaigns is to offer solutions that can have an immediate impact in the address of the development concerns of the local communities. As such, projects, programs and campaigns have to be those that we can easily access and monitor and have to be able to offer an immediate solution that will have long term impact. Not only is the organization and our ambassadors responsible for searching for where there are some of the greatest needs that could use our approach, but we also have an online portal where individuals and organizations in communities on the African continent can submit a project request.
